Wow, Thabiti in a kilt. What can you say that he already hasn't? I think its time to vote. Who do ya think looks better in their kilt, me or Thabiti? His T4G lecture was outstanding but to see him in kilt, hhmmm, ok, yeah, its scary. I think I've got better knees, don't you?

It's a difficult one, he has the right jacket but no Jacobite shirt but he is wearing tennis shoes. On the other hand you don't have the jacket and your shoes are wrong too. Neither of you have the little garters or the knifes so I think its a dead heat. Then again what do I know I am an Englishmen!

I was going far an overall assessment, ya know? :-) I was going for the casual look which allows for the boots and shorts socks. In the RR household we call it the Celtic Grunge look. :-)
Hey just so ya know, they're not called garters, but flashes and the little knives are sgian dubh, pronounced "skeen do".

I gotta go with RR! I mean, the grunge element seals it for me. And, yes, you definitely have better knees... which is why I'm rarely sighted in shorts! As I grow rounder, with these skinny legs, I look more and more like an apply hobbling on toothpicks!
